U.P.G. RB alternator upgrade ‐Complete System-

We have designed an alternator kit in house. We have thrown out the standard ways of mounting and tensioning.  We have done exhaustive testing and we feel we have come up with the next big thing in alternator upgrades for the RB engine.

Our alternator system utilizes an off the shelf alternator available everywhere in the US.  No need to look for a very specific and very expensive alternator. 

Our recommendations for sizing your alternator to your car.

  • The 110 unit is perfect for most cars, it's the perfect stock replacement, but can handle and upgraded fuel pump.
  • The 135 unit is sized for those running 2 fuel pumps and other higher load parts. The wiring size on the R32 is right at the limit and we recommend upping the size and fuse. For the R33/34 the wiring is a bit bigger and should be ok.
  • The 195/200 amp units are for those running all of the fuel pumps and E-Fans. These alternators will 100% need bigger wiring.

The complete alternator systems will come with the various different alternators

110amp will be the AC Delco gold

135amp will be the Terra power unit

195amp Hairpin with STD control will be a Wilson unit

195amp Hairpin PWM control will be a Wilson unit

Our system will include

  • Upper and lower mounting brackets
  • Auto tensioner 
  • All mounting hardware 
  • Alternator with plug and play sub harness 
  • Belt

********The 110 and 135 amp alternators can reuse the stock 4pk880 belt if it's old and stretched. We will supply a 4pk885 with the complete system********

********The 195 and 200 alternators require a 4pk895 belt due to the larger housing********

******** 195 and 200 amp alternators will need new wiring from the alternator to a new fuse then to the battery. The OEM wiring will not hang and will burn up.***********

*******PWM controlled units are a level 2 install and will require having a standalone ecu and knowledge of having to setup in the ecu. We will supply some basics for getting it running but it will need to be fine tuned by you. ******
